Kim joined the Melton & Melton team in 2003 as a staff accountant and currently serves as a partner. 

Working in the firm’s Audit Department, Kim specializes in employee benefit plan audits for both publicly and privately held companies. Her experience in this area includes advising clients on performance improvements and opportunities for increased efficiencies in their controls. Kim also performs corporate attestation engagements for clients in a variety of industries. 

Kim is a constant source of encouragement to her teammates. She was introduced to accounting while in high school and discovered that she had a knack for it, which led her to pursue a degree and career in this field. Kim credits her success to both the support of her family and friends, and the motivation and direction provided by her Melton & Melton family. 

Raised in Rosebud, Texas, Kim currently resides in Katy. She enjoys the Houston area because it is diverse and offers a wide variety of activities and opportunities. In her free time, Kim enjoys spending time with family and being entertained by her dogs, Dallas and Junior.
