Jennifer has been a valued member of Melton & Melton since 1995. Throughout her time at the firm she has served as staff accountant, supervisor, manager, and senior manager; since 2007 she has been a partner in the audit department. She works primarily on audits of privately-held, middle-market companies in the construction, hedge fund, service, manufacturing, and leasing industries. Her services guide clients in streamlining their accounting processes and strengthening internal controls.

A dedicated and thorough worker, Jennifer credits her success to hard work and the support of the other firm partners. Though in college, she originally set out to pursue a degree in mathematics, she quickly decided to switch her course of study to accounting. While her work still had her interacting with numbers, she was pleased with the opportunity to learn more about the business world. 

Jennifer continues to be involved with her alma mater, Texas A&M University; she has been an active participant of the Houston Aggies Women for over 10 years and is a member of the school’s Association of Former Students.

Born and raised in Houston, Jennifer now resides there with her husband of 21 years, Bob, and their two sons, Jared and Robbie. She enjoys the city for its diversity and variety of entertainment offerings, such as sports teams, theater, and music. In her free time, Jennifer can often be found reading, running, traveling, and attending sporting events with her family.
