Clayton Royce, CPA

Clayton attended St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas and graduated with honors in 1965. He served in the U.S. Army Field Artillery for five years receiving an honorable discharge in 1970. During his military career, he achieved the rank of Captain, serving in Vietnam and with the forces in Korea. After his military service, Clayton joined Price Waterhouse & Co. as a staff auditor in 1970 before coming to Melton & Melton in 1973.

At Melton & Melton, Clayton has been responsible for many of its more significant audit engagements in wholesale distribution, real estate, and manufacturing. He has participated as a reviewer in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants peer review programs.
