John N. Bjorngjeld, CPA

John graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1983 with a BBA in accounting and joined Melton & Melton in 1984. As a tax partner at Melton & Melton, John has handled tax and accounting engagements in a diversified range of areas including the manufacturing and construction industries.

John has conducted tax seminars for various banks, brokerage firms, investment clubs and small business groups.  He is currently in charge of the professional education courses for the firm's Tax department, and teaches annual classes to the firm's professional staff. John has extensive experience representing clients in litigation support engagements, Internal Revenue Service audits, and State audits. 

John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Houston Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
